MANDATE:
The Provincial Planning and Development Office shall take charge in the formulation of integrated economic, social, physical and other development plans and policies for consideration of the local development council.
Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the different programs, activities and projects in the LGU concerned in accordance with the approved development plan.
integrate and coordinate all sectoral plans and studies undertaken by the different functional groups or agencies.
Analyze the income and expenditure patterns, and formulate and recommend fiscal plans and policies for consideration of the local finance committee of the LGU concerned.
Conduct continuing studies, Researches, and training programs necessary to evolve plans and Programs for implementation
Promote people participation in development planning within the LGU concern;
Exercise supervision and control over the secretariat of the Provincial LDC; and
Exercise such other Functions and duties as maybe prescribed by law ordinance
– Formulate plans, Programs and Projects for the cultural heritage that support and advocate its preservation, perpetuation, protection and promotions.
