MANDATE:
- Formulate measure for the approval of the Sanggunian and provide technical assistance and support to the Governor in carrying out measures to ensure the delivery of basic services and provision of adequate relative to social welfare and development services.
- Develop plans and strategies and upon approval by the Governor,implement the same particularly those who have to do social welfare programs and projects which the Governor is empowered to implement and which the Sanggunian is empowered to provide under the Local Government Code
- Be in the frontline of service delivery particularly those which have to do with immediate relief during and assistance in the aftermath of man made and natural disaster
ORGANIZATIONAL OUTCOME:
Improved quality of life of tje clientele disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals,families,groups and commu ities through efficient delivery of social welfare and devrlopment services.
