MANDATE:
- Enact Ordinances, approve resolutions and appropriate funds for the welfare of the LGU and its inhabitants.
- Approve Ordinances and pass resolutions necessary for an efficient and effective local government unit.
- Approve Annual and Supplemental Budget of the PLGU and review MLGU budgets.
- Exercise such other powers and perform such other functions provided by laws and ordinances.
ORGANIZATIONAL OUTCOME:
- Enactment of responsive, quality, dynamic, and equitable development legislation; and
- Enhanced Delivery of legislative services.
