MANDATE:
- The Provincial Planning and Development Office shall take charge in the formulation of integrated economic, social, physical and other development plans and policies for consideration of the local development council.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the different programs, activities and projects in the LGU concerned in accordance with the approved development plan.
- integrate and coordinate all sectoral plans and studies undertaken by the different functional groups or agencies.
- Analyze the income and expenditure patterns, and formulate and recommend fiscal plans and policies for consideration of the local finance committee of the LGU concerned.
- Conduct continuing studies, Researches, and training programs necessary to evolve plans and Programs for implementation
- Promote people participation in development planning within the LGU concern;
- Exercise supervision and control over the secretariat of the Provincial LDC; and
- Exercise such other Functions and duties as maybe prescribed by law ordinance
– Formulate plans, Programs and Projects for the cultural heritage that support and advocate its preservation, perpetuation, protection and promotions.
