MANDATE:
- Formulate and implement social welfare measures, plans and strategies.
- Be in the front line of service delivery particularly those which have to do with immediate relief during and assistance in the aftermath of manmade and natural disasters and calamities.
- Provide support and technical assistance to MLGUs and other social protection intermediaries in the effective implementation of social welfare programs and services, integrating culture and health protocols to promote resiliency and self reliance in their development.
ORGANIZATIONAL OUTCOME:
Improve quality of life of life of the clientele (disadvantage and vulnerable individuals, families, groups and communities through efficient delivery of social welfare and development services.
